(The Lake of the Swans) works on the concept that traditional Mexican favorites are great but the usual haunts where they are served lack overall sanitation and professional servers. This chain of restaurants, open for breakfast at eight and still open after midnight, fixes all that. And they pay off the police to assure full security for customers and hire... More

This is a trendy taco shop in Mexico City, the menu includes the most popular Mexican cuisine dishes but my favourite are the Tacos al Pastor. The place is very clean, service efficient and courteous as is usual in Mexico and the Tacos are authentic and good. I was able to have a complete and tasty lunch for 8.00 US... More

General thoughts: I went to this restaurant after numerous recommendations from people but did not believe the tacos were superior to others given the extra price. Service: was good and the wait staff was attentive and the food came out quickly. Overall, location/service is nice but I would not say this was my favorite taco spot in town (try El... More

This is a place that after several years keeps good food and service. Prices are higher than you would expect for tacos but taste and quality is good. If you look for real simple mexican food this place is a good choice especially for lunch time or after hours.

Traditional Mexican taco joint. You will find good food and perfect Mexican "godin" ambiance. Perfect for a quick lunch or if you want to have simple but great tasting tacos. The service is not that great though. Try the pats soup. Very traditional Mexican dish and super tasty.

It has been over 20 years since It was caled Charco de las Ranas that I have been going here. Tacos are great with pastor and chuleta ahumada my favorite. I aleays ask for cebollitas too (not prrparadas). This place is a treat for me. Aleays busy an upscale typical taco place that is clean.

Had lunch here and really enjoyed our meal. We had horchata to drink and tacos al pastor to eat with fried gouda cheese (chicharron de queso). The food was fresh and tasty.

The food here is good and has been for the almost 20 years that I have been coming here. The prices however have gone way up, and it is hard to eat a full meal for less than 150-200 pesos. It is great for late night snacks as they stay open stupid late and they have their own indoor parking... More
