I visited the the restaurant with my gf and parents they night before me and my gf flew back to Switzerland. She is from Spain and i am of Mexico and understand both cuisines. Biko tries to reinvent the Mexican cuisine by adding or redoing old Mexican recipes with an added basque cuisine. The result is exquisite and will blow... More

We were a party of six to have dinner at this place with reservation made weeks in advance knowing this is a popular upscale restaurant in Polanco. We had the tasting menu, the food and service were excellent but was expected from an expensive upscale restaurant. The service was attentive and they explained what each dish was. We were the... The restaurant is business casual and it's located in Polanco, a high end neighborhood in Mexico City. We arrived for a late lunch and had the 7 course menus with wine pairing that most tourists raved about. Indeed it was exquisite and we are glad we picked it. And as far as the service, we want to thank Carlos our... More

We came to Mexico City for the second time, specifically to eat at the three restaurants in the Top 50 in the world, starring with this one. It is currently rated in the San Pellegrino List at 43 and that ranking is about fair. Dinner service does not open until 8pm which is late for some. The interior is very... More

So start by ignoring the staff at the desk when you step off the elevator. Treat them with the indifference they show you as if you have interrupted their oh so busy day by coming top their restaurant. Once that's over make sure to choose your table, don't let them seat you by the restrooms even though the place is... More

Business dinner with 3 colleagues. Restaurant very inviting, clean, modern. Staff very attentive and English speaking. Tamarind margarita very well done, I had 3! The food is good, not great. I would classify BIKO more of a Tapas/tasting restaurant than whatever they are classifying themselves. Probably not worth the price if you are paying personally. If expensing for business, in... The ambiance of the restaurant is modern just like its food. The food were beautifully presented and very delicious. The staff were hospitable and professional with their service. We came on a weekday. It opened for lunch at 1:30. We opted for the tasting menu which took close to 2 hours to finish.

This is an Spanish-Mexican restaurant, with a limited menu which I like. The food was great. All the dishes you can order half dishes if you want, so you can try a lot of them. I had two different fish and both were great, specially the one with shrimp. The service outstanding. What I didn't like is the place. It... More
