The Hacienda came highly recommended... and yet it would seem it's more the establishment's prestigious past that's propping up its reputation rather than its current efforts to live up to that legacy. When you walk in you definitely feel that a special experience is in...More

Beautiful ambience; the food and service less than average. But if beautiful places is what you want, there are many beautiful places to visit in Mexico. Among them you would not miss Hacienda Los Morales for sure. For good food, I do not recommend eating...More

Great, authentic Mexican cuisine in an amazing ambiente. An old hacienda in the center of Mexico City. After some great starters, we had Pulpo, fish in a salt crust and amazing strawberry cake and strawberries w/ cream. Portions were HUGE. Service very friendly and attentive....More

This place felt like such a tourist trap. First of all, the service is awful. The waiters only paid attention to the local customers and put us in a corner. We had to flag them down multiple times for simple things– cutlery, more water, etc....More

I just dined at the restaurant. Food was fine and I have no complaints. I asked for a taxi after I finished and they told me there was one outside. There was a silver Corolla outside and told the guy I wanted a regular taxi...More

The setting of the Hacienda is beautiful, especially if you come for dinner or a weding, with multiple salons and terraces. The service is fast, efficient and very friendly. The food was decent, although othing out of this world

Our family ate here in a recent visit to Mexico City. Many local friends recommended it for a true and authentic Mexican eating experience. That was very accurate - from the hacienda itself, the gardens, the decor and last but not least, the food. While...More

Apparently a historic hacienda home but completely what one would expect when visiting a traditional restaurant in Mexico. The food is really high standard but not cheap. Nonetheless, it is all worth it. If you have the money to spend, please go.

During colonial times la Hacienda de los Morales was located on the outskirts of Mexico City, but today it is within its confines, only a short distance from the exclusive hotels, museums and shops of Polanco. This stately mansion, a recipient of numerous awards including the 5 Diamond and the Dirona Awards, and the Executive Chef Alejandro Heredia Resendiz named Mexican Chef of the 20th Century by the Cullinary Academy of France, transports visitors to another era in a refined atmosphere where the hospitality and service make every moment a memorable one. In addition to the international menu with Mexican specialties, there are several Gastronomic Festivals each year with the participation of such outstanding establishments as I Chiostri di Firenze, Las Ventanas al Paraiso, The Lobster Festival Puerto Nuevo Style, and Il Milanese Curioso. This formal restaurant is open except Easter week and official Holidays. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie after 6:00 pm.
