We went for lunch with kids. The food was excellent . Kids share a margarita pizza with fresh mozzarella . The crust is thin. We had some charcuterie and bruschetta, and homemade gnocchi and raviolis, which were delicious. This place is not in downtown but it is worth to take a cab to go there. The waiter and the owner... The service, the food and the beautiful atmosphere make the whole experience something to remember, mostly in the new terrace. I highly recommend to try the "orange colored chimichurri", traditional from this state. Totally different from the argentinian chimichurri most people are used to.

Forget Baez, Dominos or other pizza chains...Peccato di Gola will make you reconsider. I go there on a weekly basis - I love the range of pizzas the restaurant has... simply delicious, tasty oven-made pizzas from an Italian pizzaiolo. Eat on the spot for a mid-range budget ($100-150 each person) or take-away (to go). Go there after 8pm and you... More

Real Italian experience and food here, particularly if you leave it up to the chef to perform his magic. Starting with the homemade Italian warm breads served to your table, to the handmade ravioli, this place is the real deal. We've been twice and plan to go back soon! Hope to follow-up with a more thorough review!

Great pizza / Wine place, not expensive at all, there is some lack on the service, but the quality of the food pretty much solve the issue, got to be careful with the parking, it's kind of tricky, just be patient.

Very disappointing since upon arrival we saw a sign which said it was closed for over a month. We traveled from our hometown expressly to eat there and there was no information on Internet about its closing period. We could have saved the trip. Too bad, hope to have the opportunity to try again in the future.

This restaurant is so romantic and quaint. The owner is from Rome Italy. He is also the chef. He is very inviting and helpful when it comes to understanding the menu. The menu is is full of fresh seafood dishes as well as home made pastas. The wine list is intercontinental and we'll priced. The chef gave us a personalized... More

We discovered this restaurant looking for la valenciana mines and church. The restaurant sits above the city. What a find this place was. The food was 100% authentic Italian. We started with appetizers of mussels, salmon, octopus, and trout. Along came some wonderful bread. Then the main courses of pesto shrimp gnocchi, lasagna and wood fired oven pizza. A wonderful... I pretty much refuse to eat at an Italian restaurant that doesn't make their own pasta so that makes the options limited in Mexico. But this restaurant does everything right: hand-made pasta, amazing wood-fired pizza, quality cheeses, & delicious wine. Each dish we had was perfectly done & incredibly delicious (clean your plate with your tongue delicious!). We had the... More

After 4 years in Mexico, i have found it very difficult to come across good pizza. In general, "Italian" restaurants are nothing more than Mexican restaurants who think they can make pizza & pasta. The same goes for most asian restaurants in Mexico. This one is run but a proper Italian, with a proper pizza oven, and he really does... More
