There's plenty of restaurants to choose from in central Guanajuato. Casa Ofelia offers good Mexican food at a very reasonable price in a nice setting.

While the waitstaff was friendly and the decor cute, I thought the food was not good. My chile rellano coating was soggy and did not have a good flavor. Daughter had the omelette, and it was not that good either. Disappointing.
