I have breakfast here nearly 3-4 times a week when staying in Ixtapa. Its always good, the people are so friendly and its cheap too. $40 pesos if you get their special with juice and coffee included.

If you are looking for authentic family owned experience ,this is the place. There are lunch specials each day, around 50 pesos.Nothing fancy, like eating home cooking in Mexico.Seems most customers are local workers on break. No English is spoken.Only open for breakfast and lunch.

Good food if you are willing to try local food. the place was a bit too hot (no ac, mainly outdoor eating) to be able to enjoy a meal.

Now called El Chiringuito, located on the same spot on Playa La Madera under a few palapas, this restaurant's food has gotten better and has the best Tiritas on the beach and the best Michiladas. The servers are friendly, food affordable and they'll cook anything to your liking. Miguel is a great guy and treated us very well.

We've seen people just order a beer and hang out; we've seen Mexican families bring there own food, order drinks, and hang out. The staff (Salvartore---the owner,... More

On Playa Madera, one of a few restaurants in the beach; sit down under the sunbrella, order a Michelada (beer, lime juice, spices, salt) and feel the sand between your toes. The staff is friendly, they will approach you as you walk by, if you're hungry or thirsty just smile and say sure! (If not, just say not today.) Order... More
