We just had dinner there and the food was delicious. The service and price was great. The location is right on the promenade and parking is very simple. I'd go back in a second! PS. Have the bread pudding for dessert!

This place is incredible. The food is superb and fresh, and the host is really friendly. Ask for the huachinango, and for dessert the panacotta is wonderful!!

Our party of 4 ate here on our first night in Zihua. We were tired after a full day of traveling. Sat down and ordered some cold beer and a light meal. The cerviche was great and the salsa was perfectly spicy. We also had shrimp tacos and smoked trout. The service was very good and the owner was very... More

Our group of 6 tried a few different things from the menu and everything was great. Seared tuna, whole snapper, and the octopus appetizer (not calamari) were the standouts. The owner came over and introduced himself, and made us feel very welcome. Artwork on the walls added to the delightful atmosphere.

Went there the other night and the meal was outstanding. Had the red snapper fillet which was a good portion and prepared just great. Mashed potatoes and lots of veggies which is rare for most restaurants here. Will return.

What an amazing dinner we had at this restaurant right in the heart of Zihuatanejo!!! Hubby had a perfectly cooked red snapper fillet, my mom a succulent lasagna (I tried it and it's been a long time I didn't fell in love for one) and I had the most amazing carpaccio which transported me to the French Mediterranean. We then... More

Went to this restaurant for the first time last night. Enjoyed the fried calamari, eggplant Parmesan, and steamed mussels as appetizers. All 3 were excellent. The seafood seemed extremely fresh. Our party enjoyed all of the meals including shrimp, chicken, mahi, and snapper all prepared in different ways. The food was very enjoyable. The owner was on site and very... More

We started our night out somewhere else, but left after drinks as we were surrounded by American and Canadian tourists. We love Americans and Canadians, but wanted an authentic experience and we got this at el Mediterraneo. While the food isn't per se Mexican, it is Mediterranean, you feel like you are in Mexico based on the setting. We had... More

Very nice place, very attentive owner, excellent service and (most important) high quality of food! The tuna sashimi is outstanding. Oysters are very good and fresh (not always available). Very tastful garlic bread as a free gift from the house. Also every other dish we tasted was fresh, best quality and nicely arranged such as red snapper with mediterranean sauce,... More
