This family run place is a small cheerful restaurant with seating on both sides of the street. The food is very good and very reasonably priced. The grilled fish, fish tacos and lime pie were great. Very friendly and helpful owner.

We went to dinner here on a recommendation from some other guests at our hotel. The food is grilled right on the street by the owner Mauricio and prepared by his wife Veronica. I had some amazing octopus and my wife Peg enjoyed bacon wrapped grilled swordfish. The service was very good and personable. What a fun evening. We went... More

We had several lunches here and they were average for the price, our dinner was very good, best rib eye steak we had while in Zihua, cheese stuffed shrimp with bacon were cooked perfectly but a tad bit too salty. The chef gave us a sample of sail fish to taste but it was overcooked. Definitely a problem when you... More

The tables are outside in a patio environment. The service was both friendly and fast. I had the daily seafood special (red snapper). The flavor and texture of the fish was perfect with just the right amount of seasoning. My companion had coconut shrimp. She said it was very good but not exceptional.

We stopped in for lunch on a recent trip where we were warmly greeted by the owner, Mauricio, and experienced great service by Bryan Oriol. This is a great little place on Calle Adelita, supplemented by a number of al fresco tables in a charming location across the small street. A wood-fired grill in between provides both the food and... We've been to lots of restaurants in Zihua and eaten lots of fish, but El Arrayan is the best. Took the owner's recommendation to try the red snapper. Superb! They made my wife breakfast even though we were passed the time when it's served. Loved the pay limon (lime pie) and the guacamole. Very hospitable, family-owned place that you must... More

The charcoal grill is the magic. We had bacon wrapped sierra, one of the finest meals I have every had. The margaritas were perfect and the service excellent.

We stopped by the El Arrayan restaurant for dinner based on the Trip Advisor recommendation. The food was great, they had a live musician playing guitar, and the service was very personal and friendly. The table is great for people watching, and they even had a fan blowing on the diners to keep us cooler. Maurice and Veronica own the... More

Found this place via trip advisor. It was a short walk from hotel Irma so we decided to give it a try. The patio is lovely, the food delicious and the service excellent. A family run operation where the Dad (Mauricio) was on the grill, the son was our server and mom was cooking. Entrees range in price between 90-120... More
