An am amazing hacienda style restaurant on 2 floors full of character and style, offering rich Spanish Mexican food with a fine supporting wine list sited in a local back street providing an excellent introduction to the district. A definite must for those seeking a great start to the holiday dining experience. A double bonus was a visiting 4-piece local... More

Another great meal experience at one of our favorite PV restaurants. The food was excellent, the service the best! And to top it off they surprised my boyfriend with a delicious piece of birthday cake along with musical birthday wishes.

Good venue, lacking a little bit of air conditioning but with several fans. Service was very good. The food was solid but not amazing and worth the price. It is worth checking it out but it does not impress either.

Joined by friends, we met at Trio's to celebrate the US holiday. The bar was able to make a decent dry Manhattan, to savor while making selections from the special menu. The green salad (mainly arugula) with blue cheese was overly dressed in an oil-based sauce but still nice. The pumpkin soup was lightly savory. Our table of three split... More

Wonderful European style with the old fashion service of the French restaurants. The menu is very tasty, price quite expensive but you can choose half order or the full plate, this gives flexibility if you want to try different plates. The "trio" of musicians are just wonderful with Mexican songs from another decade.

A group or 9 of us enjoyed an evening at Trio, with attention to service. There were several dishes that were deemed "excellent" by the members of our group. Some of us have been here previously 2 to 3 years ago and found that the quality of the food and service was the same or better than previously..

We've been meaning to stop in and experience an evening of fine dining at Trio for some time. We finally made it and all the anticipation we'd built up over time was not disappointed. The lamb chops are exceptional. My girlfriend ordered the cordoniz (quail) and it was also delicious, as were the salads and soups that we ordered to... More

We had 11 people for dinner and it was hot and humid in the restaurant. I understand that on most nights it can keep the windows open, but tonight they needed AC. The staff was attentive and the food was good. They need AC!!!

Tourists in PV love Trio. We love great food. It was during the Gourmet Festival. My starter was a tostada, and included a very spicy mayonnaise style base (great) and the beef was actually beef fat (not my taste). The filet with onions was cooked to perfection. Service started off great, but a big business party table came in and... More

Trio is a must when in Puerto Vallarta. The lamb chops are some of the best I have eaten and all of the food is well-prepared. From beginning to end, you will enjoy the meal
