Small gem in the zona romantic. A very small store separated from the baking area by the checkout counter. Walk in, grab a platter and tongs, then serve yourself. That's the way it is done. Give your platter to the checkout person and they'll pack...More

We love that is a neighborhood bakery. The selections are really good and everything is made fresh. We are in PV every year in late Sept until mid Oct. Unfortunately for us and other shoppers, Yarita is usually closed the first week or so of...More

The banana bread and the pecan muffins are very good. Most of the muffins I have tried are pretty decent. Fruit turnovers are ok and pretty moist. The wheat bread is awful. Heavy, dense, tough and dry.

Great place to sample the local specialties. My favorite for savory is the spinach empanada. For sweets the pineapple empanada or the mini-sized 'pie de queso' (dessert cheese pies, plain or with coconut). They also have a new coffee machine and very reasonable priced coffee...More

I am not a big sweet eater but being in Mexico and knowing their sweets are NOT as sweet as in the USA, I figured, WHY NOT!! Glad I did. It is interesting concept to me, as you grab a tray and tongs to start...More

A great baker offering lots of baked goodies and a wonderful aroma to greet you when you step inside. English language not great but you can get by easily.

Cute little aromatic bakery with cheap eats. Cash only. Can watch some of the goods being made and/or decorated if you happen to visit at the right time. The wares were a little bit dense, instead of being light and fluffy but the flavors were...More

Love, love, love this little place. Stop in day or night and marvel at the stacked racks of pastries, doughnuts, cookies, cakes, and other baked delights. Grab a coffee too. There are a few bar stools on the sidewalk in front to enjoy the treats...More

I believe they are open year round. They might have closed briefly for a vacation as it is a local owned and run bakery. They make the pastries that the beach vendors sell up and down the beach, also year round.

They definitely carry croissants; I believe I've seen pain au chocolat (or a version of it) there, but it may not be an everyday item.
