We ran across the street to pickup burritos before our flight. We got the shrimp/fish/bacon burrito combo and the octopus burrito. The shrimp one was great...really delicious. The smoky addition of bacon just added to the wow factor. The octopus was well cooked, but not my favorite in burrito format. My husband loved both so much that our next trip... More

I asked our waiter what tacon meant and he said it was slang to add an n to a word to mean bigger or larger. The same way you add ito as in taquito for diminutive. Well tacon de marlin is aptly named. Big on flavor and serving! The Tacons are stuffed with marlin (I know,I know) so deliciously flavored... More

Is a hole in the wall, not inviting, even ugly, but don't be foolish!! ones you find the bravery and get in there, the flavors, the test, this is to died for!! no kidding, after a month in puerto vallarta this was the very best food we had, is a shame we discover the place just one day before to... So here's the deal, if you fly into PVR and don't want to pay an overpriced taxi ride to your hotel, as you exit the airport walk all the way to the left and walk across the pedestrian bridge as you come down the ramp, Tacón de Marlin is hard to miss, do yourself a favor and have a cold... More

On a recent return trip from visiting the Doctor, we walked down to Fluviul to grab a quick bite to heat. Very clean establishment compared to the location by the airport. My wife had a crab burrito and I decided to have the shrimp. They came with the usual salad and did not disappoint. They are huge, and very tasty... More

I always go to Tacon De Marlin for a marlin burrito before boarding my plane home. The burrito is always hot and tasty. The burrito and a Coke Lite is about $6.00 US. Tip: To get there, walk to the south end of the airport toward the expressway. Go over the walkway and you will find the restaurant at the... More

Made to order, eat in or carry out (great for the plane ride home). Always busy but worth the wait. Simple menu, assorted fish, shrimp and crab, combo sandwiches available. A taco and cerveza .... a great lunch. Large enough to share.

I've gone to this restaurant the past few time's I've flown out of Puerto Vallarta. After checking my bag, I took the walking bridge to the other side of the busy road and ate a reasonably priced meal that was fresh and tasty. The last time I was there I had three Mahi Mahi tacos that were over-the-top good! I... More
