An unexpected pleasure. The food was wonderful (I chose the Red Snapper) which was nicely seasoned and grilled. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Loved the tequila selection! The prices can't be beat and I'd rate it very high for value. Low key ambiance and not noisy. Heading back next month!

We flew in late and decided to walk to find something to eat. After walking forever, George woo'd us into this restaurant stating he'd pay if we didn't like it. It turned out to be delicious, and he gave us other recommendations to try as well. He also walked us down to his friend Rene's tequila shop! It was a... More

This is certainly a hidden gem in Puerto Vallarta that we came across on our first night in the town. The selection of seafood is incredible, all fresh and very tasty. I decided to try their signature dish, the Rio Grande. It doesn't look that appetising in the picture (see attached) but oh my - was that a tasty dish.... More

We had a Red Snapper grilled to perfection as we sat at a table outside watching the cook grilling the fish. Also had shrimp wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cheese. One of the best meals we have ever had anywhere. Cook even cut up the fish so there were no bones and on top of all that it was... More

We walked by this restaurant on the way to El Barracuda and were so impressed by the photos of the food (first) and then seeing the actual fish being grilled that we decided to eat there the next night. While we were visiting (the last week of Jan. 2017) the exchange rate was approx. 20 pesos to the dollar. My... More

A great place for Mexucan food and not the watered-down tourist version. Excellent service. Our favorite plate was the palomitas de camarón.

We ate here on our 1st night just by chance and we are so happy we did. We ended eating at this restaurant 3 more times. The seafood is just delightful. I highly recommend getting the 2.2 kg fried redfish, just make sure you get there before 6pm because they always run out of that dish.

Stopped the other evening for margaritas and guacamole, drinks were good and the server stood by with the bottle to strengthen if necessary. The guacamole was excellent and chips plentiful. We ate at one of the two tables on the sidewalk and enjoyed watching traffic and people. Went back for breakfast this morning, wife had eggs with beans and toast,... More

Our family of 4 visited Rio Grande for dinner upon the recommendation of a friend who frequents PV regularly. We found the service attentive and accommodating. The food on the other hand was tasty but a little too salty (fish, shrimp and even the steamed veggies). Tuna was fresh and our kids had chicken strips and ribs. All in all... More

Wow. What a value for a whole lobster and prawns. Food was delicious. We ate right outside on the street, very neat experience. Hidden gem in pv!
