Each morning Federico "Fredy" Garcia greets his guests as though he is welcoming family to his restaurant. Yes it's busy and yes you will probably have to wait a few minutes for a table. But it's definitely worthwhile. His staff is very friendly and very efficient. And the food is so good it's hard to describe. Yummy. Fantastic. And not... More

Never disappointed here. Food and service excellent. I had eggs Benedict and my husband had bacon and eggs. We had mimosas and fresh warm pastries while we waited for our food. There is often a wait for a table but there is coffee and chairs and iced water outside available while waiting for your table.

Fredy's is a great place to grab an authentic Mexican breakfast at a very reasonable price. The menu has a large variety to choose: eggs, pancakes, crepes, as well as several Mexican combination choices: we have been here several times and never disappointed with our options. The service is always spot on and very polite - well attentive and cordial.... More

This is one of our favorite places to have breakfast. In fact it was first on our list during our most recent visit. The fresh squeezed orange juice is such a delight. I can honestly say that I ant get anything that tastes even remotely close back at home. Simply unaltered and straight up deliciousness! I had eggs my way;... More

This restaurant seems to be the breakfast spot in Old Puerto Vallarta - it is always full and everyone leaves with a happy smile. The menu is diverse, but not overwhelming - the portions are large and food is very tasty. In addition they offer irresistible freshly baked sweet pastries. Service is excellent, friendly and quick. The owner/manager makes a... More

A sign of a good restaurant is the size of their clientele. That being said Fredys must be a very good restaurant. Only open for breakfast and lunch, and as I have only been there for breakfast, that is all I can comment on. The wait is usually short lived, and if you have had any previous rapport with the...
