Quality is consistent and that's a hard thing to do in coffee shops anywhere. Had the chilaquiles in red sauce that I washed down with their delicious coffee...so good. Carrot cake is a huge portion and also a must.

We visited on a family trip and stumbled on the Looney Bean. It's been our favorite spot for coffee, smoothies and juices. The food is delicious and their menu is quite extensive. Everything we tried, from the pastries to the salads was great. We have come every day and been so impressed with the service. The owners, Tom and Heidi,... More

We had breakfast at Looney Bean Coffee. It is a very small coffee shop and we had to wait a while to be seated. We sat inside and it was pretty warm. They only have a few seats outside. It was not as good as their other coffee shop in Cerritos.

It is right along the Malecon (the boardwalk) serving coffee, pastries, sandwiches & breakfast. The smoothies are delicious! Very relaxed vibe.

Wanting a good North American breakfast while away from home, this is a great place to go. Menus in English as well as Spanish. English speaking staff, although do try some Spanish. Great fresh fruit juices blended. I would suggest the tropical Zinger- a blend of pineapple, orange, celery & lime. Tart, just the way I love my juice. We... More

Not overly "mexican" by nature, but just a good place to grab fresh eggs, fruit and good coffee and shakes. Staff is very friendly and place is quiet.

Actual ly It was very good! I thought it was overrated by local hype...Their Punta Cerritos location at Nuevo Mazatlan is Not updated in Trip Advisor...prices are decent too, would recommend it to Emerald Bay visitors to escape from the Hotel's Pompousness...

There are two Looney Beans. The one in Old Mazatlan is small, and crowded. The coffe drinks are really good, and if you are staying in a timeshare, I recommend buying ground coffee there. It's better then what you get at the super markets. Oh, and it has free wi-fi.

Everything is delicious there, the staff is always helpful, ready to serve you and smiling! The views are beautiful as it is right across from the ocean, go at sunrise for a coffee.. You won't regret it.
