Just a. block off the malecon, small little bar/restaurant. Say "hi" to Angelina and Cesar, they'll take good care of you. Good food. Seems like a local hangout.

Cesar is a wonderful bartender, friendly and helpful. A wide offering of beers and drinks makes t hard. To refuse. A black off the beach boardwalk makes it a quiet respite from the sun without taking a side trip. Food menu is primarily burgers and salads, no Mexican food here, but lots of cold beer. Enjoy!,

This restaurant specializes in burgers of various kinds, but they have also a decent Taco Salad for burger avoiders. It feels like a social club where people gather for conversation at all times of the day. Fast and friendly service.

We stayed at Casa de Leyendas at the beginning of our two weeks in Mazatlan. We were rather tired from our travels, and Macaws provided just the pick-me-up we needed. Our hosts were helpful, and it was nice to see fellow Americans loving the place, too!

Macaws was close to our hotel, and we soon became regulars. The small bar opens onto a pleasant plaza facing the art museum, and was just perfect to stop by before dinner. You could tell that a lot of those who winter in Mazatlan Centro enjoy it as well.

We stopped in for a few drinks and had their house Margarita. It is made with fresh squeezed juices and no sugar. It was excellent and demanded a second! We also had the chicken Nacho's plate and it too was excellent and large in size. Great place to visit, eat and grab a drink. We will certainly go back again... More

After taking in a mid-day performance at the Angela Peralta Theatre we were looking for a spot to have a drink and light lunch. Macaws is only a block off of the Malecon west of the Machado. We had a beer and soup (clam chowder) while one in our party had a hamburger. It was fairly busy, so it took... More

Expats recommended this place. The margaritas are delicious! Made from scratch and they don't use sugar so not too sweet. We shared the nachos. Very tasty. Great service and the owner waited on us personally. Highly recommend this place.
