Fat Fish is our favorite “cheap eats” restaurant in Mazatlan. Now by cheap I do not mean low quality. I mean low price. First time visitors should know that, despite the name, Fat Fish is a BBQ rib joint. I’ll go even further and state...More

Ribs were as great as always. Served with salad, baked potato, coleslaw and toasted bread. The Thursday we visited they had live music.

We stopped in for dinner a few nights ago for the first time. Simple fare at low prices. Three of us had the ribs and one the fish. Everyone was happy with their meal. This isn’t haute cuisine. Nice ribs off the grill and well...More

We always try to go to Fat Fish at least once during our stay. The Ribs are pretty good, the steak is ok, but overall the value of 2 dinners for under $15 makes it a worth while trip.

The bbq ribs were so tender! We had a slab of ribs with the fried shrimp, coleslaw and baked potato for 240 pesos. It can be enough for 2, but the ribs were so easy to eat that we wanted more! The shrimp were seasoned...More

Best ribs in town at a super price. About $15 for two. The portion is crazy hugh. Could not eat the whole thing. We Visit many times when in Mazatlan. Service is average (miss you Marco). Nothing special about the place itself but nothing disappointing....More

Great BBQ and good sides. We had ribs... plenty of food to share a meal if you're a light eater. A bit noisy when we visited, but we were soon lost in the flavors, so no problem.

We are from the south, so we know good barbecue. When our friends recommended Fat Fish we had no idea what to expect. I ordered the New York Strip steak and rib special. When we got our food I could not believe how much there...More

Not the best place in town (talking about the place itself), ribs and steaks are good but also not the best, price is good, so if you want a reasonable medium-low price vs quality this could be a good choice.
