We were in Rosarito for Thanksgiving this year and decided to do something non-traditional. A friend recommended El Nido and I am glad he did. The staff were amazing and the decor was nice, but I am a meat lover and that is what I remember most. The family that owns this restaurant also owns a farm where they raise... More

A very unique restaurant in the heart of Rosarito Mexico. If they have open tables, eating in the back garden room is pretty cool. If not, the rest of the restaurant is very nice inside also. There are several in-wall wood grills where they cook some of the food. I had the chicken which was really well seasoned but maybe... More

El Nido has been around a long time and is a well known restaurant for both locals and tourists. Best food here are the steaks, for $20 each. Tortillas are also fantastic. If you pay with a credit card, expect to pay a premium if you pay in US dollars. Ask to sit in the garden room- very nice atmosphere... More

Tried this restaurant out at the last minute because the restaurant I usually frequent was unexpectedly closed. Ordered a shrimp plate in butter and garlic and while the portion was good there was no real butter or garlic taste. There was a bean soup for starters and it's basically a cup of pinto beans in it's broth. As a side... More

El Nido really is a great place. It gives the appearance of being a mere tourist trap, but I can say from experience that everybody- locals and tourists alike- really enjoy dining there. If you don't like the company of drunkenly, raucous out-of-towners just go at an off time, on an off day. These kinds of people aren't taking up... More

El Nido is one of a group of restaurants owned by family members. I've eaten in the other restaurants as well. Although the food is pretty good and the service has always been good, the prices are higher, I guess because they are right in the tourist zone. If you do go, have a mango margarita...muy yummy.
