Great service and food at this nice little restaurant. I ended up eating there several time during my short stay in Thailand .
I had the Thai style food which was reasonably priced and consistent quality.
Visiting Ao Nang was great! I stayed at Jose almost every day and really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the great food. Especially the pizzas were great and breakfast too. I can recommend this place to anyone who loves to stay close to the beach...and enjoy good people and good food.More
To add context to my content, we have been eating great Thai food for the past week and wanted to satisfy our food urges for something else and we found it. Great tapas, pizzas, burgers and drinks with a true European style of cooking and...flavour. We liked it so much we went back the following night. We did not try the Thai food so cannot comment on it nor did we stay at the guest house.More
Loved the tapas, great bar and restaurant, good menu. I’m f you’re in a groups there’s something for everyone. Ate here one night and called in late the next night for a couple of tapas dishes when we didn’t want a full meal . Shrimps...were delicious.More
If you like to people's watch, this is the place for you. You're sitting above the walkway and can sit and watch people while sipping on a beer or drink.
Staff is friendly and the drinks are good, prices also reasonable for the location.
I...only had a chicken ciabatta here which was just OK. But I saw people around me later with more elaborate food which looked very good.
This is my favourite mid day place for a quiet drinkMore
Popped in here just when passing on our first night in Ao Nang as we were very tired from travelling,
Great spot to sit and watch the world go by, friendly staff and food order was pretty quick.
Ordered a Shrimp Fried Rice which was...delicious and a chicken penang which was very tasty but very spicy!!
Had a couple of beers, all in all game to around £18 (730baht) which I guess is pretty standard! Although there are much cheaper places to eat around!More
We were 4 people going for a beer and something to eat - I had to wait long after the others had finished eating. Having ordered fried rice with chicken it shouldn’t have taken that long. Anyway the chicken looked ‘strange’ (round ‘balls’ shining of...oil from having been made in friture. The rice were also looking somewhat strange with small remainders of prawn shells. I ate like 1/4 of the rice as the only thing - and one hour later I starting feeling sick which became quite severe during the night. So a doctor was consulted who diagnosed and treated severe food poisoning. It lasted for more days!
I went back to let the owner know but his attitude was just like ‘it must have been something else’ - strangely enough as I had nothing else but the rice and a beer.
I can only guess why the food was not hygienic ok - BUT I hope the owner and staff will act more careful in order not to let future guests experience food poisoning and loosing more days out of a (maybe annual) vacation.More
