Beautiful location and excellent Thai food especially the soft shell crab starter. Really authentic and very good quality. Well worth a visit for lunch or dinner.

Great food - excellent quality Thai food at reasonable prices. Prompt service - all staff were very polite and helpful. Susi served us on all 3 nights and nothing was too much to ask. Beautiful location and setting, balancing tradition and modernity. Would return again if we revisited the hotel, which is likely!

We dinned at the Suan Bua Thai restaurant during our stay at the Centara Resort in April. I am usually slightly apprehensive about hotel restaurants (often overpriced, catering for a captive audience), but Suan Bua changed all that. The setting is beautiful (with indoor and outdoor seating), the menu has a nice balance between traditional and modern takes on classics,... More

We decided to spend our last night at the Centara Grand Resort going to dinner at Suan Bua. We decided to go for their 4 course offering that included an appetizer, soup, 3 entrees to share between two people, and a delicious desert for around 27 dollars per person. Throughout the evening Dorn, our server, made us feel very well... More

Good Ordered tom yum seafood clear soup, seabass in sour and spicy sauce and mixed veg. Overall a warm and comfortable ambience. Fish was fresh and deboned. Seafood was fresh! Not so good Had the chicken satay which was not my type of food. Ordered mango sticky rice where mango was fresh but rice was served cold. Always thought this... More

The food is very delicious, full of flavour and the service is amazing. As a vegan, I was delighted to see so many vegetarian options available on the menu which could easily be made vegan. The restaurant is very romantic and beautiful with the sea just nearby. Make sure to make a reservation though because it gets busy!
