Good dog friendly pub if you want a good value meal. Both enjoy the burgers and evening order a second. Drinks and food reasonably priced. It's also on the Wreckers Morris band circuit for a few hours of great entertainment.

Awesome to see my old local back to a thriving drinker's pub. Glynis and Tony have brought the pub back to life and doing the works it so desperately needed.
Came up from west Cornwall for a Cornish Sing. Had a very enjoyable eve. and many thanks to the landlord for making it so. Its a bit run down but understandably that they have recently bought the pub and are working hard to bring it...More
We were recommended to the Queens Head by our hosts at Sandhill House where we were stopping for a few nights. Tony, the new host at the Queens Pub, and the locals, were very welcoming. The local ale was excellent, and the homemade food was...More

Pleasant enough chap behind the bar, who served a pretty good pint of Courage, at a very fair price, but impossible to feel at home in this place, which is a pity,as the bar is pleasantly traditional and the ale is very good.
Very basic local, OK if you like this sort of pub but could not my cup of tea a bit of a spit and saw dust pup, shame.
