Most of the breakfast locations at Tanah Rata did not look very appetising and my friends and I were delighted at finding this place. It is located behind the parking structure and below a hill (which i have indicated in the pictures below). If you see many tents together, you know you have gotten the right place. The friendly deaf... More

We visited this cafe based on trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. Although this is more of a stall than a café, food was very cheap, tasty and cooked fresh! The cafe is owned by a deaf couple who gave us a very warm welcome and made ordering our food extremely easy. Being a vegetarian in Malaysia, I... More

Overall food is ok. Nasi Lemak is average but the banana pancake is excellent. Service is a bit slow maybe due to many customers. Verdict : it's an ok place to eat but don't go there when u are very hungry and need food fast.

Thanks to bloggers, I found THE place for breakfast/brunch/lunch/tea at Tanah Rata. It is not in a shop even though it is called a cafe and that is the best part, hidden gem off the busy road at Tanah Rata town. Best way to find this is Maybank at Tanah Rata. Take the left when you see that Bank and... More

Came here for breakfast after being disappointed in the main strip. So glad we did! Tucked away under some tent roofs over the little River behind the main Street along with some other food stalls. Had Nasi lemak with a fried egg, banana pancakes with honey and couple of coffees for rm11 and it was all lovely. Warm and friendly... More

This stall (not shop) is operated by a deaf couple. The menu is clearly printed on the banner/ board and you just have to show the owner your order. High recommend the pancake (with ice-cream), nasi lemak and toast. The price is very reasonable.

Tried their strawberry pancake, mixed fruits with vanilla ice cream pancake and the nasi lemak. Got their temporary shop location from a taxi driver and happy for them as they will shift back to new shop at their old location soon in 2 weeks time.

The pancakes were awesome. The place is opposite of the maybank carpark. It's right in the middle of the open space carpark.

We found this place in tripadvisor and were having a hard time finding this places and almost give up. It's actually located at the open car park opposite Maybank, you'll see a mamak stall, it is located beside the mamak stall (not very obvious) the banana pancake with ice cream and nasi lemak are really delicious although the outlook doesn't...
