A year ago we came to the Dunstanburgh Castle Hotel and had what were probably the best chips we've ever tasted. We wrote a review on this website to say so (which is soon to be deleted). Today, sadly, we were served with chips that...More

I visited the Dunstanburgh Castle Hotel for a family lunch. Being restricted to a gluten free diet, I'm used to accepting that my meal will not be so exciting as it would be if I could choose freely. I was delighted to be able to...More

I read this review with a degree of confusion. Quite how we managed to be stuffy, old fashioned snobs whilst also being foreign and unable to speak English is quite beyond me. Guests can be reassured that the foreign staff we have are first class...More

Thanks for the review. I am pleased that you enjoyed your food. Sorry that the service on Tuesday was slightly slower - it was perhaps busier that expected and we were slightly understaffed. Best wishes DCH

The helplful hosts at Westmount B&B booked us in here for an evening meal. We ate in the rear dining area that was quite relaxed which was a relief as we were walking the Northumberland Coast Path and looked the part. Had some good fish...More

Stayed in Embleton 5 nights and ate here every night. Really good vegetarian choice - a choice of at least 4 veggie dishes - and great choice for meat eaters. Lovely friendly staff.

Dogs aren't allowed in our bar or restaurant areas however we do have a newly refurbished lounge with comfy sofas and an open fire place and we are more than happy for them to go in there.
