The Queen Conch has been a great surprise in Harbour Island! In clear contrast with the luxury hotel restaurants, this simple but excellent restaurant, frequented also by locals, is a good alternative in terms of quality/price ratio. The dishes are freshly prepared according to recipes of the local cuisine, tasty and delicious. Please note, they only accept cash. We found... More

What was most disappointing was they server potcake....that's Bahamian for the hardened rice at the bottom of the pot.

Such a cute place in town and the conch salad is amazing! Well worth the visit and get there early as they get so busy and you can end up waiting a long time if you arrive late.

I would like to thank Richard, his Wife and the folks at the Queen Conch for the great start to our afternoon on the island. We actually met Them on the taxi on our way out one day, it was Richard's birthday. We weren't quite sure about eating conch since we don't usually do that (it was our first long... More

On our first afternoon in HI, we stopped in to have some "freshest" conch salad made with care right in front of us. It was delicious--I preferred the spicier version but my daughter and husband enjoyed the mild. The portions were large enough to bring some home for cocktail hour enjoyment with some crackers. Be sure to get your host... More

When we stopped by for lunch the towns power was out so the only thing available was the Conch Salad. They prepare each salad fresh with all kinds of goodies. It took 15 minutes for them to chop everything up right in front of you. Right on the water and gorgeous. The flies are a problem though.

True local food was delicious! My only complaint would be they needed fans under the deck to help with the flies :-) they were hungry too!

Given the price of food on Harbour Island this is a good budget option. The menu isn't huge but it's bigger than most of the other budget options. Most of the options are fried. The conch salad was excellent (if you like conch), and the conch fritters and cracked conch were as good as anywhere on the island. The patio... More

I spent much of my childhood in the Bahamas, and several trips to Harbour Island, so I KNOW conch salad! This conch salad is great!! My ex and I used to barrel down to QC in our golf cart, hoping we just made the cut-off for another round of Ms. Yvonne's delicious, spicy conch salad. Frankly, the negative reviews (... More

A trip to Briland isn't complete without a stop to Queen Conch for the Bahama speciality, conch salad. Served only for lunch unless you stop by to request for dinner. Love it, and love the low key relaxed vibe.
