On the dramatic shore of Barbados - the East Coast, you find this restaurant in an old railway station. Yes The Barbados Light Railway from Bridgetown to Belleplain passed Bathseba - and the Round is the leftover from these days (1870 - 1930s). Hard to...More

We visited the Roundhouse twice during our stay in the area and we enjoyed both times. On both occasions we had the pumpkin fritters to start. They were lovely, though quite sweet, with a hint of cinnamon. They were really tasty - hence we had...More

Perfect stop when doing a day of sightseeing. Can have a nice splash in the rock pools down at the beach. Food is not always predictable but fine for a quick lunch - the catch of the day is usually good.

Food is very OK, but the view is very great. You can sit for a while just watching the most interesting beach on the island. Lovely drive to the site. The food is not great, but passable.

Having been on a self-drive tour of the island we arrived at around 3pm for a late lunch without a reservation. They were not busy and so able to accommodate us. I had the mac ‘n cheese pie (from the choice of sides - recommended...More

A small hotel/restaurant that immediately caught our attention. It is located at one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever visited, Bathsheba beach, on the wild and unexploited east coast of Barbados. The house dates back to early 19th century, and is since the 80:s...More

We are here twice and it’s a good spot for dinner. The drinks and pumpkin fritters and coconut shrimp are great. The second meal was the BBQ which we would skip if coming here again. Stick to the menu.

Round House is one of my favourite restaurants on the island. My experience today unfortunately was not the best. It was quite busy as one would expect during the high season but they seemed to be understaffed. The food took over an hour to be...More

Four of us had a good lunch at this sea view restaurant. Good varied menu especially "catch of the day" and the steak was also good. Patrina made sure of good friendly service. A good stopping place for lunch or dinner.

The round house is located on the side of a very steep grade. However, if you are not the driver you could get dropped off by the entrance as the parking was located uphill from it. It is very doable for handicapped persons... More
