Nice setting and friendly staff. Good food and value for money. A small car park in front of the cafe made it easier just to drop in for a snack.

Great food, welcoming staff and wheelchair accessible, I made the mistake of going through the main entrance which had a difficult threshold to cross however there is a way in through double doors on the side which would have made it much easier.

I always rated the Peppercorn very highly!so when the new owners took over I wondered if the same standard of friendly service with a smile and good quality well cooked food would still be the order of the day?.I have been on 5 or 6 ocassions since it reopened, and I am pleased to say that it has! We stopped here for a mid-morning break on the advice of our guide. This is a lovely little spot for a sandwich or piece of cake. All the cakes are baked in house. We had tea and two kinds of cake, both of which were very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I well recommend this - friendly, warm, and amazing food - really really good food - we had lunch and tea - fine selection, and homemade cakes to take away- very good prices for the quality, all excellent. Everything was efficiently run and the staff were genuine, friendly, kind people. A jewel. Although a little small with tables close beside... More

My friend and I rode past the cafe on the way down to the beach and decided we would walk back up with our bikes and chance it. As we entered the outside area we were greeted by a friendly Lady who offered us menus to take a look at. The portion sizes of each meal we ordered were quite... More

We had delicious sandwiches here, and the staff were extremely nice and friendly. There is a little garden which is peaceful and sunny. I would have rated this café as excellent, but unfortunately the loo was not particularly clean, with only one very damp hand towel. Otherwise very good!

Fantastic hot chocolate and home made Victoria Sponge. Portion sizes were huge and great value for money. Really enjoyed my first trip down to Peppercorn and look forward to visiting again soon!

Mmm, kind of difficult to review this. Looks promising, welcome seems OK, but it is all rather superficial somehow. Waited almost 25 minutes for just two straightforward orders with only one other table waiting - who happened to also query when their meal would be served. There were four people on duty, but a lack of urgency or awareness of... More
