First opening after the second covid lockdown. Really pleased to see a table and two chairs outside in the warm Sun. We only wanted coffee and toast for breakfast. Although not a vegan establishment the owner is vegan aware and vegan friendly. She is open...to provide vegan food specially prepared if notified beforehand, so give a call before hand and have a chat. She was so friendly and explained that there very few vegans in Amble but will be providing some vegan items on the menus in the future for visitors. The coffee was hot and tasty. They are very supportive of the local community, sponsoring the local junior football team and local schools. Offering prize winners free dinning with their family's. Nice little place opposite the little old harbour.More

We are delighted you are open again. No sunday morning is complete without a leisurely coffee, breakfast roll or eggs benedict. Staff always very friendly. Good value and pleasant view over the harbour.

We visited last night, the staff are so friendly & pleasant. We had 2 cocktails in here, they were so fresh & refreshing. The pair told us they had taken over 3 weeks ago & they really deserve for this to be one of the...best bars in Amble. You can really tell that these two are putting everything into this bar, which is lovely! We will definitely be visiting next time we come up! Good luck guys!More

My wife and I stopped here for some lunch half way through a circular walk from Warkworth. Cafe is a lovely cosy restaurant which wasn't too busy at the time we were there so plenty of room. We got a bar stool seat at the...window which was great for watching the world go buy. Service was excellent and the sausage butties very nice. Well worth a visit.More

Been here twice now and couldn’t fault the place. Their coffee is lovely, fresh buns with tasty bacon and properly cooked eggs. Small but perfect menu. Hubby tried full English which is served all day, I had the freshest ham salad sandwich. They also do...afternoon tea with a sone with jam & cream. Nice range of toasties and if it’s your time of day they serve cocktails or whatever else you fancy. Just across the road from the Quayside Chippy, this is a perfect place to stop off for a tasty meal or snack.More

Went for lunch and wow fantastic. I had southern fried chicken and chips. Beautiful homemade coating for the well cooked chicken. Probably best i have ever had. My wife had the southern fried chicken burger with coleslaw salad etc and she says the same. Really...nice place with a warm cosy welcome. A gem of a place.More

Having arrived in Amble without a booking we found this little gem - owners were so welcoming with huge smiles and very friendly. We had their southern fried chicken burgers and homemade coleslaw. Excellent value but genuine service with a smile - would love to...see these 2 running a larger place - they are passionate and love what they do - highly recommendMore

Really enjoyed our lunch here during our trip to amble. Reduced menu due to Covid - 19 but so good! We had the chicken with coleslaw, chips & corn on the cob and everything was sooo tasty. Also thoroughly enjoyed the £3 cocktails of the...day and the service was lovely! Would definitely recommend. Such a bargain for really tasty simple food!More

Yes we took our dog in and he just sat under table. It's not very big so I wouldn't imagine they would welcome a dog with every diner but the odd one, fine
