Felt done by their high cost poor quality food The staff were friendly and well mannered And the pub restaurant was very nice We booked a table for Sunday evening and we were told that we could not have a table inside because we had...a pet dog Fair enough But the same evening there was very little people there and the back room was empty We had our meal out in the cold evening And the dinner was like something that was heated up more that onceMore

Real nice to be there. Because of the covid it is a little bit less nice but the food is really good. Good place to stay

Have visited Larkins a number of times while taking a boat up the lake from Killaloe. Every time it’s been great, and I can’t speak highly enough of it. Covid times were the first times during which I visited, and throughout they’ve managed to provide...excellent service, quality and atmosphere. A+More

You couldn't pass Larkin's without popping in. We called for lunch on Saturday and were given a table outside but with a good high clear roof overhead. All tables well spaced apart in these COVID times. Super lunch menu, well priced, excellent service from friendly...staff. Been there before, will visit again.More

Had a wonderful evening/night for a family birthday. Food was delicious, the Brie starter was to die for. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food indoors, covid guidelines well respected. After dinner we went out to a fabulous newly refurbished outdoor area. Would highly recommend 5star!

Was there at 4pm in the afternoon of a sunny day. Beautiful location and surroundings. Very poor service- all waitresses seems tired/bored/disinterested. Had zero interaction with me. Ordered and received a pint of Heineken- totally flat. Eventually after trying to get the attention of a...waitres I got to order , again no human interaction- I did the talking. I asked where could I smoke and was told to smoke where I was but no offer of an ashtray or anything to use. My steak burger arrived about 25 mins later - tasty, although bottom broiche bun was very soggy from red onion relish and the small potion of chips made me wonder about the pricing. Again after trying to get the attention of a waitress - I failed and without being checked on throughout my meal- or having my table cleared, I gave up on the Americano I desperately wanted- put on my mask and went up to pay a waitress who noticed me after another waitress pointed out I was standing in front of her for 5 mins. Paid my €22 begrudgingly. Beautiful place- nice food but no management of staff or customer service.More

Had a very poor experience of what had been a recommended place to eat, in the glorious weather of mid July it should have been an enjoyable evening but was substandard at best. After eventually getting the attention of a waitress and ordering drinks ,...we were told that all 0% alcohol drinks were out if stock and then the minerals we ordered never came Had to wait an hour after ordering for our main course and none of the extras we ordered arrived but were on the bill. Again same story with desert, after ordering waitress came back to tell us that they were out of stock on some of the deserts. When the bill came I eventually got the extras off but was more then surprised to be charged €3.50 for jug of water with dash of orange cordial for the children Won't be back..More
