5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed today NEW

My husband and I have eaten here many, many times. The food is always lovely. Today was no exception. We both had the veggie burger and thoroughly enjoyed them. The bar dining area has just been refurbished and it makes a lovely place to eat.

After a 3 hour walk along the sea cliffs of Solva we looked for somewhere to eat. The Cambrian is smart inside with helpful staff. We were disappointed to find that given the coastal location seafood did not really feature on the menu. The burgers looked interesting so despite not really being burger fans we gave them a try. It... More

Enjoyed a really tasty meal, excellent service but the room was a little bare and the bench seat uncomfortable.

We were a table of 8, even though some of the party were 20 minutes late the staff did not mind and we're quite happy for us to wait on the sofas. The staff were reasonably quick with taking our order and even quicker with bringing the food out. The food was beautifully presented and nice and hot. We were... More

The Cambrian Inn was one of the few establishments open when we visited Solva for lunch yesterday. It's mid-March and the day before they start charging for use of the harbour car park. The welcome was good, the ambience more than satisfactory, the service prompt and the meal was even better. The loos were clean too. If I had to... More

Another burger trip and so well worth it. The menu has been changed but the old favourites are still there. I tucked into the lamb burger and whilst amazing it defeated me so hubby polished it off. He tucked into the pork burger and made short work of it, no mean feat given the size of it. Sadly the trio... More

We went here for dinner on a busy Saturday night and this pub was full of families, groups of friends and couples, all having a grand evening. I had the venison Scotch egg starter, which might just have been the best Scotch egg ever, followed by the Thai green seafood curry, which was incredibly flavoursome. Staff were friendly and efficient... More

Very disappointed came here as the food is normally ok, however I was brought out a cold steak which was very unacceptable! Complained very politely, steak was taken away and the SAME steak was brought back within 5 minutes! The steak seemed like it had literally been heated up in a microwave! Very disappointed not what you expect when your... More

We stopped here purely by chance to get out of the wind and rain. This is probably one of the best if not the best place I've eaten at. The staff were friendly, plenty of seating, bar area and the food was amazing. I had the Steak and Guinness pie which had tender beef, no fat and the best pie... More
