Arrived, the restaurant was empty apart from a couple with children. The staff were standing about gossiping. Ordered food and waited, and waited and waited. Other customers who arrived at least 10 minutes after us were being served meals. I then decided to ask where was out food. The excuse was the pork chop took a long time!! I am... More

Well, this was probably the tenth time e have dined here, recommended it to many people and never been so disappointed. For a table of 6, we were given a table set for 5, promised cutlery and a chair, after waiting for an eternity, we set our own place. The young male waiter then threw the menu taking a wine... More

Recommend by friends, this Inn certainly didn't disappoint. The staff were attentive and helpful, particularly well informed of their menu and prepared to send time to discuss dietary requirements. Plenty of easy parking, although the Sat Nav took A while to sort out where it actually was as it a little out of the way. Well worth the effort though... More

Booked to have my first sunday lunch at the cripple creek after thoroughly enjoying an evening meal here a few months back. It was a friend's birthday so i was hoping it wouldn't disappoint and it certainly didn't!! There was a huge selection of roasts to have, plus another page if specials to also chose from! The meals were good... More

As always a friendly welcome from the well trained staff. I must compliment the management and chef's for the well thought out extensive menu.An excellent choice of vegetarian dishes as well as locally sourced meat and vegetables. A clean and well presented establishment I highly recommend the Cripple Creek for the overall experience.

When I phoned to I book Sunday lunch for a family get together I specifically asked what were the vegetarian choices as I am averse to ending up with pasta or risotto - if I am out for Sunday lunch I want a choice that I can eat with the vegetables served to the rest of the party. I received... More

We eat at this restaurant regularly - approximately monthly, with the Welsh contingent of our family; who are all meat eaters. Arrival is always quick and very welcoming. Staff are well trained and attentive. Food comes rapidly and is piping hot, with a variety of vegetables and potatoes served separately. Pudding Menu is brought on a chalk board and normally...
