All the dishes we ordered were either bland, over-cooked, or not fresh. The fried wantans were almost burned to a crisp and the stuffing was far from fresh. The vegetable chjow mein was overcooked and bland. The sweet and sour pork was disgusting and the sweet and sour chicken was not fresh. The waitress barely spoke English and her customer... More

A good selection of food and drinks. The food was reasonably priced and cooked well. Service was good. Good sized shrimp and decent portions. It is off the square just far enough to be a bit quieter and less crowded.

I agree with a previous poster that this restaurant has reviews for two different places under it and there appears to be confusion. The name says "China Cafe" which is a Chinese food restaurant found in the Marketplace and has excellent food and service. The picture for this review is of "China Grill" which is found on the Grand Lucayan... More

Here's why you shouldn't eat here: 1. Bad Food - Think fast food quality hot dogs, sandwiches, and salads. 2. Service - No smiles here. You'll feel like you're bothering the staff. 3. For bad food and bad service, expect to be robbed on the tab. A hot dog with chips is $10. A basic salad is $15+.

This review is for the China Cafe in the Port Lucayan Marketplace, not the China Grill at the Grand Lucayan Resort....I think there are reviews for both under this title. We stopped in the China Cafe in the Marketplace with the intent to stay for dinner, but it was so HOT in the restaurant itself that it was unbearable. We... More

Good burgers and salads made quick by the pool at the Grand Lucayan hotel. Good tropical drinks as well. Mahi Mahi burger was delicious.

I had something simple but they keep the bottle of mayonnaise out all the time. The weather is extremely hot and humid there so I get concerned wondering what else do they not refrigerate.

China Cafe is a great place to either sit up-close to eat your food, or can order right to your pool/beach chair. We ordered Club sandwiches, salad with salmon, hamburgers etc. while we where there, all was amazing, and hit the spot without leaving the amazing views!

We ordered a fish sandwich for lunch. The fish was basically all fried breading... Barely any fish!!! It was $16 plus the 7.5% tax and 15% service charge. Would not go back.
