If you want a $5 johnny cake and cheese or corned beef, this is the place for you! Nothing amazing, but it's pretty good.

The food was not bad at all and it was super convenient for my wife and I since we stayed at the Colonial Hilton right across the street. We ate here several times and I would recommend this place. By the way please note that it is cash only. Everything else in the downtown area is super expensive but this... More

Ok sooo, I might have to overlooked the food fried in the old grease and the seasonless chicken if the customer service was up to par. Customer service was a F. The lady taking orders was rude at best and several people walked out due to the rudeness and blatant refusal to take orders in a timely manner. I'll pass... More

Dinner at Imperial Cafeteria was a well-deserved treat after a long day. Originally went there to purchase some chicken and fries for my children intending to order, collect my food and leave. The service was prompt and the cashier took the order accurately. My wife and I ordered the fried chicken breast with peas and rice with a side of... More

You cant' beat their chicken curry or club sandwich, especially for the price. Everything elesr we've had there was good also. The late night eclectic clinetel and ordering through a repo car lot window add to the ambience..

Affordable local food that's done right. A short walk from the cruise terminal for a cheap alternative to sampling real Bahamian food. Although a dine in area is available I believe most orders are made to go which makes it convenient if you are on your way to Junkanoo Beach. Although not the cultural experience of "Fish Fry" I think... More

Don't be deceived by the exterior of this place. It's local food made very well. Staff are a little grumpy but it adds to the charm of the place. I really like it. There's always a wait for the food but I would much prefer to wait! Definitely worth a visit. Reasonable prices!

We were at an event until almost midnight and had not eaten. This was across from the hotel and there were a good number of people inside waiting for food, so that was a good sign. I enjoyed cracked conch for the first time and my husband had fried fish. We had large portions and were satisfied with the food.

Ate here a few times and the food is good and not expensive. The fish burger was my favourite on the menu and they do a good fish platter too. Very clean eating area in the front if you don't fancy a take away.

Unrivalled value for the location, great food on more than one occasion, highly recommend the chicken burger & fish burger . Good value lunch/dinner meals. Open most of the time! Don't be put off by the less than friendly servers.
