We (my wife, my daughter and me) ate here last year and I gave it 5 stars. My daughter's Caesar salad was excellent. My wife's grilled octopus was good as was my Caprese (Mozzarella & Tomato). We asked for bread with our appetizers. No bread ! Believe that? Me neither. But it's true. Instead, they sold us burnt forcoccio. Terrible!... More

Had dinner here after a long boat trip to the BVI. Food and service was excellent. Awesome pizza and pasta! A/C was a welcome delight after a long hot day on the water!

it is not a pizza joint. Don't pass bye without taking a peek at their menu and dining room. Excellent service by Jorge. I recommend Custantin chardonnay. Chef owner comes out every now and then to check on costumers enjoying Northern Italian cuisine. Pizza must be good as the front terrace was busy with take out and one lady took... More

We ate at da Livio twice during our recent visit to St. John. The food was excellent! However, the prices listed on the menu are for the small (appetizer) portion and not the dinner portion, so best ask the price if desiring a dinner portion. The bread is a la carte, which is very unusual (and disappointing) for an Italian... More

We have been to da Livio in the past and went last night about an hour before they closed and ask for a table on the porch since it was such a nice night. They only had one table for four and the man that greeted us said he wanted to hold it for a four top but we could... More

Da Livio's food is impeccably prepared, and that's why you should go there. I've eaten there several times (lived on island for many years) and have never been disappointed in the least; in fact it's in my top three restaurants on St. John. You're going to find there a European service and style of restaurant. While you'll be seated and... More

Pizza was excellent, service great, very attentive, it is a little pricey, so I see how that could turn some folks away. However, I agree with the positive reviews.

We had heard this was a very good restaurant. It wasnt. The "service" started with wet cloth napkins and went down from there. Even though it was fairly empty, we rarely saw our waiter. No bread was offered. No refills of our drinks were asked about. The prices on the menu are for the appetizer portions for items that have... More

This was a restaurant my husband and I had been curious to try since we come to the island each year. Finally we decided to give it a try. We ordered 2 different salads and 2 pasta dishes to share. Since we were not sure on portion sizes, we got a appetizer size and a dinner size pasta dish. The... More
