Our friendly server called us both "honey" and made a pitch for the homemade sauces. They were way too hot for us! But we enjoyed the chunky chicken sandwich on rye, and a stuffed avocado with coleslaw. Nice interior with old-style stone walls, and chairs...More

This was my second trip to Glady’s and ordered the soursop colada (as I did before), but the hurricane ruined the fruit and had to replace. This drink wasn’t so sweet as before. Missed my ‘cotten candy’ drink.

We are sorry that you are disappointed. However, we cannot control what two category 5 hurricanes do to the availability of fruit. We will try to have it all ready and back to normal for your next visit.

We had lunch at Gladys’ and the service was great and the food was good. Hard to find but worth the visit. The conch fritters were unique and the hot sauce is light you on fire sauce. Good but oh my Hot.

Visited this fantastic, locally-owned & operated restaurant as part of a culinary tour. Enjoyed a delicious sample-sized meal of the chicken curry - which was fantastic! Also sampled each of the homemade hot sauces that are sold from this restaurant, and can testify that they...More

My hubby have been on St. Thomas for 5 days and have gone here two times. We LOVE the conch fritters and the service from Pamela and the drinks from Davis! The pan fried grouper is mouthwatering and the white tuna fish sandwich is delightful....More

You wouldn't think a great white clam chowder would be hard to find in the Caribbean. But it is and we had a superb bowl in St. Vincent but disappointments so many other places. Gladys makes hers with finely chopped conch, not food processor mush,...More

I personally appreciate Gladys view on life. It is emblazoned on every servers T shirt. You can purchase them along with some of her favorite hot sauces. I love the fried snapper or most any fish dish. Plantains. Best Bloody Mary ever. Good conch. This...More

We were there for lunch around 1 PM. Did not have to wait and the servers were very good and friendly. There were 6 of us and everyone enjoyed EXCEPT the two who ordered Mahi Mahi sandwiches. A lot of dark meat and very fishy.

Why isn't the staff friendly? Why are all guests charged $1 for the bathroom? I feel more like I am bothering someone by inquiring about your food and drink selection rather than enjoying the atmosphere and ordering off the menu. There are only a handful of ppl that work at this establishment and no one smiles unless your caucasian. Yet staff is eager for a tip....Then to not have all that's on the menu available and receive mediocre food on top of the poor service. Am I missing something? Also the alcoholic beverages seem more like a ploy to get more money from tourists because there wasn't any alcohol in the drinks I paid for 3x's . I should not hear an excuse about everyone complains about the bar tender... last but not least your portion size of rice is for a child, we are fully aware of portion control but it seems cheap to give your guests 2-3 table spoons of rice compacted to look pretty on a dish, I don't recall being on a diet.. Am I paying for a $20 and up snack or a meal... even highend restaurants give you a better portion than that... I should leave feeling full not hungry... maybe I am missing something because these reviews are very misleading.

We are latin. Have been going to this restaurant for years on our occasional visits to St. Thomas. There is a lack of bathrooms in the old town and the ones available are not from the restaurant. The service has always been... More
