Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Sandbox has an incredible vegan Big Mac burger that is DELICIOUS. I am still dreaming of it. They use a house made quinoa/veggie patty that was so good. Highly recommend to vegans and non-vegans alike!

Next to and connected to Lemon 2 Go. If you want To Go, to to the Lemon side. If you want to sit, go to Sandbox. Good breakfast sandwiches. Skip the croissant, go with the local bread. Good service, good food, and comfortable sitting area....Inside and outside seating available.More

I had the breakfast sandwich and it ranked close to one of the worst I have had. The egg was poached and cold. Very little bacon and cheese. The muffin was dry and like cardboard. The muffin was good.

Sandbox is connected to a flower show and the coffee is great! The bar at Sandbox is pretty fab too! Sit outside on the sidewalk and watch everyone going by!

I cannot say anything about the food but we stopped there for a drink while walking through town as they had a DJ outside and we thought it might be fun. I ordered a Rum Runner and a Dirty Martini from the Bartender and watched...as she made the drinks, she barely did a 2 count while pouring the Rum, (roughly about a third of what it should be) and did the same with the Vodka for the Martini. The bill for these two very week drinks was $32 USD Drinks in other area bars run generally about $12 USD each and I understand an increase with the DJ but to charge up for a weak drink to me is unacceptable and this has been the only disappointing place we’ve been to since coming to Turks and Caicos, I wouldn’t recommend itMore

This is part of the Lemon to Go building where the coffee is top notch! The vegan Big Mac was a delicious surprise! The veggie spring roll was crisp and fresh. Above the delicious food is the wonderful staff! Always pleasant and smiling and ready...to accommodate just about any request. You wont be disappointed if you go here!More

Great lunch spot. Generally asian in the menu, the chicken curry is really awesome. As is the pho soup. I don't think they have a big kitchen, so they bring it in every morning from somewhere, but it's on par with lots of similar asian...food in asia! Also ferdie is the man, very welcoming sociable guy, his samosas are a must - very good. Again, could be in indonesia or malaysia with the quality here. Punching above it's weight.More

Let's start with the pretzels. I ate nine, and about four cup of veggie dipping sauce. I also had three carrots and that's all. I think. It was a rough night. Not in a bad way though... Our group marched on in to sandbox and...immediately felt welcomed. I always roll with a large squad, so it was nice to be accepted into such a fine establishment even with our numbers. The bartender hooked us up with some SWEET chilled shots that went down like saltwater. I then retired to one of softest, most divine booths I've ever had the pleasure to sit in. I stayed there the rest of the night. All in all, can't go wrong with pretzels and vodka. -JMMore

We went for lunch at the Sandbox on our visit to Turks and Caicos, interesting tasteful interior. I asked the waiter if there was any salad he said no just vegetable spring rolls. The menu is very limited and it was hard to choose food....Not really a place for kids to eat. I would suggest rather to just go for a coffee at the coffee shop and not a meal. Service was fine. The waiter was friendly and heblpful. While we were there the owner came in and spoke harshly to the staff, the atmosphere in the whole place changed instantly. At that point we just felt like leaving the Sandbox it was uncomfortable to be there. Food was good. Just very expensive for what you get.More

This place was my favorite lunch spot. The food was healthy and delicious. I was craving the salad, vegetable roll and soup after having it. If your looking for a break from fried fish this is a great place.

Thanks so much Shannon and see you next time. Try the vinyl collection or the Hurrican Vodka. We actually have a Gray Goose Party on this Friday (tonight).

We found Sand Bar a year or so ago, I think they had recently opened. Although not on the beach, it's just off Grace Bay Beach on the main road near all the cool shops and restaurants. It has a casual yet upscale vibe, great...wine and alcohol selections and Jessica the manager is AWESOME. So is Janet, we love them both they create a great vibe and keep the place hopping. If you are into a party Thursday & Friday Get Going, people. And it goes late by Turks standards, 1 or 2 AM with DJs, dancing and fun mayhem. They have good nibbles too, pizzas and other bites. Always an awesome time. We heard Jessica is leaving soon to go back to Canada, I hope not!More
