The restaurant property is gorgeous! Beach meets antique decor on entry and restaurant is ON the beach. Menu is small but food was delicious and filling. The rum punch is a must have! The property manager Emil introduced himself and answered any question we had about the history of the restaurant, property in general and Bequia.

My friends and I had lunch there 2 days ago and found the food and service to be excellent. Of particular note was Dawson who was efficient and charming and added to the overall experience. The food was incredible and I would highly recommend the restaurant especially to the discerning diners.

We had a delicious meal here during our stay on Bequia. Arguably the best food on the island. The menu had a slight Mediterranean twist and everything we ordered was delicious - not a bite left. On the expensive side but well worth it. The hotel itself and the location were stunning. It was a full moon when we visited... More

We had a lovely lunch here during our stay on the island. I went for the lobster as it's not on the menu when we've been on Bequia before as it's been outside the lobster season. My wife had the chicken roti. All the food was of a good standard & the view from our table made it really special.... More

We were a group of 9 scuba divers staying across the island in Port Elizabeth. We spent 1 night at Sugar Reef for dinner. It was my favorite meal on the island! I had the beet salad with lobster soup and bread. It was so delicious! I was impressed with the beautiful decor in the restaurant. A beautiful place with... More

We visited Sugar Reef AGAIN to see if the food was consistent and worth the rating we first gave it. We ordered the Beetroot Salad a second time and the salad was as good as it was the second time. The menu HAD changed and does so as the season slows down. So know you will not see the same... More

We ate dinner here one evening during our stay on Bequia. The setting is fantastic. Industry Bay is a secluded half moon of sand which was completely deserted when we arrived shortly before sundown. The bar serves great cocktails which we enjoyed sitting on the beach. Dinner was superb. The lobster soup was a particular highlight. Service was attentive and... More

As we did not like the sound of any of 5 dishes on the menu we ended up ordering a fish tartar as a starter and burgers for our late lunch. The fish tartar was ok, but the burgers lacked any seasoning. Both were very small portions so we still felt hungry afterwards. Very nice presentation of the food, but... More
