I suppose my expectations were too high based on all the recommendations for this restaurant. The front entrance to this establishment is a bit bleak looking; a run down unkempt 'pond' full of murky water and weeds and a concrete floor in need of paint. Upstairs at the actual restaurant, the space is OK, nothing fancy by way of decoration,... More

Da Bess on da island! Jacques and his wife have been cooking here for over 15 years and mix their own curries. The food and the service and fabulous. Worth the short walk from town

It seemed a bit off the beaten path as it wasn't along the Belmont walkway with the other restaurants. We had missed it a couple of times until someone told us to look for the Live Lobster tank. You pass the tank and go up the stairs to get to the restaurant. My husband's smoked Kingfish appetizer was outstanding. He... More

It really is. The food is consistently good. The views across the Harbour make for a great experience. Good selection of wines, try the Sancere it travels well and goes down a treat with the lobster Thermidor. Even though it's busy they always make room and serve you promptly. Top marks! Note it's closed on Thursday

We were advised to come here by a local and didn't know what to expect. When we got here the mojito's were a stunning start to what followed. We all had from the specials coupled with local veggies and have to say after six glorious weeks in the Caribbean eating extremely well this was one of, if not the best.

The quality, presentation, and the ambience were fantastic. Good portions and great 5 star 🌟 tasting food. Had the pleasure to meet with the owner Jacques. Super nice man who gave us great advice on places we should visit while on the island. Can't wait to go back.

Had a nice lunch while catching up with some old friends who run this hotel. I'll highly recommend this restaurant and there are lots of choices on the menu for repeat visits.

We returned for lunch after a fab dinner last year and were nor disappointed. We had the lunch time specials of conch gratin and curried lobster. Absolutely delicious with perfect spicing which complimented the lobster. Followed by delicious chocolate tart. Lovely views across the bay and cooling breeze. Excellent service. Many thanks Monsieur Le Patron especially for the chocolate rum!

I consider this place the best for dinners, I highly recommend the fish with roquefort and breadfruit chips, this was the perfect combination for my dish! I'm Coming back soon for some more delicious dinner! Well done Chef!
