This was my first experience with Caribbean lobster and it did not disappoint. They flame grill it in the shell and split it open for you. Sweet meat for sure. You also get a sale and bread for $50 with the he captain of your boat getting a free meal. Not bad. Can't beat the scenery and great hospitality.

The Whistling Pines would be reason enough to visit Anegada. A couple of fantastic pines which really whistle in the wind, add a nice and quiet bay, a wonderful sunset, and the best grilled lobster I have EVER had. The restaurant works on a reservation basis only, so they know exactly how many lobster they will have to go and... More

I think it was Barry that stopped by the boat after we moored. He delivered a reservation form- required for dinner here and made reservations for those who could decide on the spot. Most of us had the curried lobster which was yummy - even if a hair overdone. Their regular Anegada lobster was melt in your mouth good, I'm... More

Our group of 23 held a birthday party for one of the group here. We essential took over the restaurant, and the staff went out of their way to make sure that it was a special night. The service was great, the food was spectacular, and the setting, with the full moon in the sky was just terrific! The food,... More

This is a beautiful location for a romantic dinner. My husband & I stayed in Anegada for 5 nights. Our experience at Whistling Pine was perfect. I had half a lobster and must say it was more tender than that elsewhere on the island (but still not up to par with Maine lobster in Northern New England; cannot compare 2... More

Lobster is one of my favorite foods and a trip to Anegada for one of their lobsters was a must do on my Virgin Island adventure. Barry convinced us to try his restaurant - Whistling Pines as we were mooring for the evening. The lobster on the beach at Whistling Pines was impressive! A large lobster for $50 with sides... More

We had an incredible sunset meal of fresh lobster and steak. Barry provided exceptional service and the available fresh-baked desserts were fantastic (the pound cake and carrot cake we bought for the boat were wonderful and we wish we had purchased more). A true gem on Anegada!

This was our second time to Whistling Pines in 5 years. As we tied up to our mooring, our host Barry came out to greet us and invite us to dine at his establishment. We met Barry 5 years ago in the same way. After touring a bit of the island we came back for dinner and were seated at... More

As with many reviewers, my boat was met by Barry and his jingle first, followed by other entrepreneurs. We decided to dine at Whistling Pines. My wife and I enjoyed fresh whole lobster with a bottle of sparkling wine. Total cost with tip, $150 dollars. In my opinion the lobster was excellent. Succulent, with delicious garlic butter sauce. The garden... More

Highly recommend this place. The ambience was great and I loved eating on the beach. The lobster was prepared perfectly and was fresh out of the ocean. Absolutely loved this place and hope my husband and I make it back sometime
