Beautiful little restaurant with nice service and wonderful food. We were a party of 10 and got 2 tables - 1 for the adults and 1 for the kids. The food was beautifully presented with great amuse bouches and palate cleaners in between courses. My...husband had the Filet of Beef and said it was even better than ones he had in France. My older daughter and I are vegetarians and they accommodated us nicely. Definitely a great special occasion experience.More

Had a fantastic dinner at the restaurant but the best experience was the connecting rum bar. Jason is an amazing host that will take you through the journey of rums. Just tell him your flavor likes and let him take the wheel - trust us!...Super friendly guy that will totally make your visit worth it and the rum is insanely great. Can’t wait to return. Thanks for the rum and laughs, Jason! -Joe and BethMore

We had made this reservation one month in advance and when arriving we were seated at a small table even though the restaurant was empty. I asked for the larger table on the porch but the lady with an attitude said it was reserved even...though the waiter tried to tell her it was for us. The food was horrible served cold and the rack of lamb was tough and chewy. The wine we ordered was substituted without our knowledge for a different vintage. We were extremely disappointed in this experience as we had been here many times with the previous owners.More

Although it is not shown as open at lunchtime, they are open & have an excellent lunchtime menu. My wife and I both had the duck tataki with sesame for starters - Lovely! I had beef cheeks as a main course whilst my wife had...the red snapper with sauce vierge - Excellent! We followed this with the pineapple carpaccio with hibiscus sorbet - Delicious! The food was faultless; the service was attentive; we had a great meal and the cost was €26 each which i thought was excellent value. Highly recommended!!!More

We went for dinner during our stay in St Martin. This was a true culinary experience. The ambiance is very nice and they accommodated our family of four. They even brought in a chair for my daughter's doll. The food is a blend of French...and Carribean flavors. The egg parfait was delightful. The risotto was amazing. They feature homemade butter and bread. The seafood builiabase was great with fresh local fish. Nice wine list.More

We had been away from the island for a few years and we were so happy to see all our favorite places have recovered beautifully after the hurricane. Le Pressoir has always been on our list of restaurants and I'm happy to report it still...is. The dining room looks gorgeous! The food and service was superb! Can't wait to go back!More

I live in upstate New York and keep a winter home in St. Maarten so I'm very familiar with the better local eateries. Our party of four dined at Le Pressoir in Grand Case recently. The restaurant re-opened last year after Irma. The ambiance is...lovely, cool quiet and very appealing. All four in our group chose from the 59€ prix fixe menu. Unfortunately the prix fixe selection was quite limited ... only 3-appetizers, 3-entrees & 2-desserts. All of the appetizers were very good. One in the group ordered the lobster entree whichwas great but three ordered the fried crispy poultry ball which was very disappointing. It amounted to shredded chicken, formed into 2.5" ball then breaded and fried. The breading and the chicken were both flavorless and the chicken was very dry as well. None cared for this entree at all. The desserts were very nice. The plating, presentation & service were excellent & the place itself is appealing but the poor prix fixed selection (no beef, pork or lamb) and the very weak chicken balls ruined what otherwise would have been a great meal. In the end $400 for a so-so meal isn't good enough to make me want to return anytime soon since the are many fine alternatives in Grand Case. TripAdvisor says Le Pressoir is the 7th best in Grand Case. My guess is Le Cottage, La Villa, Auberge Gormande, Bistro Caribes, Spiga and Oceans 82 are the 6 ahead of them. Le Pressior was near empty while the other were quite busy. We couldn't find a table anywhere else which it why be ended up dining there. Clearly they need to pick up there game. Suggestion: Revise and expand the prix fixe menu and make sure everything on it is good and particularly avoid putting the 3-dollars of ingredients in the chicken ball on the menu at all.More

Didn't have a reservation on Mardi Grad de Grand Case, but still fit us in, and boy were we glad they did. Excellent ambiance, great service from our waitress, and the presentation of the food was visually superb. Food was great across the board, and...we couldn't have been happier. Would definitely recommend to one and all to try (though you'd be wise to secure a reservation, as with food this good you don't want to miss out on the chance they don't have a table for you).More
