Starting with the dessert review because it was a standout. The caramel soufflé was perfectly baked and very balanced; we loved the fluffy soft texture and the combination with the caramel and the ice cream.
The appetizers and entrees were also top notch. The beef...ravioli with an airy yet creamy truffle sauce was my favorite. The lobster bisque that my fiancé ordered was also delicious and not too heavy. The entrees we got were seafood and tasted extremely fresh. I especially loved the seasoning of the risotto.
Lastly, service was wonderful and warm. We’re looking forward to returning here.More
Le Cottage is a wonderful place to dine. Tania and Stephane have such a warm, yet elegant space. We found the service and cuisine fantastic. The salad, soup, fish and pasta where so incredibly fresh. If they don't have there own garden, how did they...manage to do so? Desserts where so perfect looking, we almost didn't want to eat them (not really!). Even if you are staying in Philliburg/Maho Beach/Simpson Bay, do make the drive or take a cab up to Grand Case (on the French side of the island). It's most certainly worth the time and experience. We'll definitely return on our next visit to St. Martin.More
Tanya and Stephen and the entire staff were exceptionally hospitable. The food was excellent and the service was the best on the island. We done in Gran Case every year. We are there 6 weeks and this restaurant never ever is anything short of spectacular....We had dinner there several times and had different menu each time. The only problem is, what to eat next. From appetizer to dessert , 6 stars.
Thank you again Tanya and Stephen .
My last night on the island of St. Martin was spent at this beautiful restaurant. The food was immaculate and it truly was a gastronomical experience. The pairings of the wine and food were spectacular. It was very clear that a lot of passion and...love went into the whole ambiance of the restaurant and preparation of the food. The food was served in a very timely manner and every bite was an explosion of flavor, color, and texture. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anybody that visits St. Martin. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant when I make my way back down to St. Martin. 10/10 for me and my compliments to the chef and owners of this place.More
