We have been coming to St Maarten/St Martin for 31 years and Tropicana is always on our must dine list several times while on the island. The owners and staff are like family and always treat you right. The food is outstanding whether it is...lunch or dinner. Fresh mussels on fridays for lunch but if you want to guarantee availability let them know in advance you are coming. Great wines by the glass and bottle as well. We have always left the restaurant fully satisfied. On our recent lunch visit we had mussels with fantastic french fries and risotto with shrimp, salmon, and snapper topped with chorizo as well as a divine chocolate desert. On our recent dinner visit we had smoked salmon appetizer, beef filet with a creamy porcini sauce and sea bass on mashed sweet potatoes with a wonderful sauce. Special desert was outstanding. Deciding now what day to go back again! Don’t miss this extraordinary restaurantMore

We stopped in today for lunch and they were packed. This was possible the best meal we have had on the entire island. My husband had spaghetti carbonara and I had escargot in a puff pastry and the most delicious lobster salad I have ever...had. It had lobster, smoked salmon, avocado, egg, shrimp, artichoke, cantaloupe and so much more. You need to have this salad in your life.More

When it comes to food quality, value and service, Tropicana is the best restaurant on St.Maarten / St. Martin. The service is exceptional and the food is top notch, all matched by reasonable prices. It is a great place for lunch or dinner, and while...your main course will be excellent, make sure to save room for the fabulous dessert specials. As one of the oldest restaurants on the Marina in Marigot, Tropicana has stood the test of time, and continuously delivers traditional French cuisine.More

My family enjoyed a delicious dinner on our first night here. The special pork and ravioli, risotto, and salads were all amazing! We would definitely recommend this place. The restaurant was on the water which was very nice.

This is by far ( after 9 days vacation) our best restaurant in St Martin! Out of 9 evenings we chose to come there 3 times not thinking twice. To start with the friendly and family like atmosphere plus a great view and to finish...with the best French chief Emanuel ( if I spell his name right) who makes the best dishes of love!:) Let alone the fact, whenever he has a spare time he comes to the table in person explains the menu and recommends something! I never saw it anywhere else. The size of the meal is excellent so that you are not leaving the place still being hungry like it happened to us at one other restaurant which is a little on the right side while facing this one. If you are ever so lucky to find urself in Tropicana, PLEASE order escargot! It is a must have:)))The chief makes it so different from other places on the island which makes it more delicious and unique for the place:) Overall, no matter what you try there, you can never go wrong. This place will make you forget all other around the area so save yourself a time and make the best choice:) Gosh, I would give a lot to be there now after I worked on this comment:(More

After the hurricanes and covid we made it back to St Maarten and were relieved to see that Tropicana has survived. It is our favorite, hands down. We had a beautiful lunch out on the deck in the shaded breeze. Ti punch, a bottle of...Chablis, Escargot in puff pastry, a delicious, refreshing Gaspacho, Dover sole muniere, Red snapper, garlic fried potatoes and a crepe suzette-like desert. All top notch. Thanks to servers Nadesh and Panni. Back soon.More

Definitely the best place to eat in Marigot. Franny is an incredible server and so sweet! The chef specials are different every week we go (we’ve been living here for a month) and they are always killer. Their home made rum is our favorite on...the island. Great for lunch and dinner.More

We have been coming TO SXM forn22 years for 3 weeks and we never fail to make sure Tropicana is one of the regular restaurants we visit..on Tuesday we enjoyed a steak for my husband and a lobster dish for myself. The service and food...is excellent. It is a little hard to find because of construction. Try it out and write your own review!More

First visit this trip to the island (will not be the last!). Took friends who live on island but had never been before and they were impressed through the starters and main courses and blown away with the desserts! The service was great as always...despite the impressive rain that started just as we arrived...More

Don't know, but they are all flat fares. Agree before you get in. Probably in the US$25 range. Grand Case about the same because they would likely go the other way round. To go to both would probably be a bit more.
