I had a fish dinner here while on our cruise ship stop at St Maarten. It was the best fish so far on our entire cruise! Nothing fancy here, just great fish!

Follow the locals and you are sure to get the best tasting food . Rustic joint . Great good . Must try the Ox Tail . If you are hungry and need lunch by 1100 better grab a snack and return . We checked twice and food arrived from off site preparation at 1230 but it was worth the wait... More

Whenever we visit St. Maarten, Sheika's was the perfect spot to grab lunch. I especially enjoyed their veggie options like the sweet potato and spinach pie. Unfortunately the taste and quality of the service in my opinion has declined, so we don't frequent there as much anymore. Really wish that they were able to be consistent with taste and service.

This is a nice local place with plenty of dishes to chose from. We have eaten here three times and it's been really good all of the times! One of the girls working there knows what is in the food which is good for me as I'm allergic to some things. It has been safe and super proffessional every time!... More

Had a stack of pancakes and the megamuffins. Both were great and very tasty. The banana which came with the pancakes was not for me but I am probably more used to the Cavendish bananas. The coffee is strong and I like that, but it might not be for everyone. Service was great!

A very local open air eating place is St Philpsburg. Always busy so the food is fresh and the jerk chicken is tasty.

This was one of our stops on a culinary tour. We tried the jerk chicken accompanied with mixed rice and a salad. The flavors were delicious and the portion size was plentiful. It's off the beaten path and frequented by lots of locals.

We had difficulties finding a place to get vegan food. We stumbled upon Shieka's Bistro and return two days for lunch. The experience is truly rewarding and the food great. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. We highly recommend it for the great food for vegans and meat eaters.

We knew we were in the right place when we noticed the line of locals getting lunch here. The food was delicious and prices were great. I had the Oxtails with rice and peas and green salad. Hubby had the same and added some jerk chicken. Only cost us a little over $20!

We were lured into this place by the delicious smell and also because it was full of locals. The food was so tasty and fresh that we went there again two weeks later on our second cruise. We ate stuffed crabs and whole grilled red snapper paired with an amazing salad and rice. On the other occasion, we had jerk... More
