Great modern café with excellent choice of omelets, crepes, and pastries. If you look for tasty but still inexpensive breakfast, no need to look for anything else. Omelets are cooked with your choice of ingredients such as ham, prosciutto, mushrooms, cheese, etc. Same with French (or Belgian) style crepes - you can't be wrong with your choice. Pastries deserve to... More

Great pastries, decent little quiches, nice quiet terrace in back for relaxing and eating. Happy it was recommended to me!

I'm that one person who just couldn't find anything I liked on this island, except for this place. It has amazing pastries, really good coffee, and French-style sandwiches for lunch. The prices are reasonable too.

Excellent breads and pastries. Also some breakfast fare, (sandwiches made on baguette). A pleasure to sit and enjoy a coffee, and a pastry on the deck over looking the lagoon.

It might be just me but the order/pay line seems to move so slow? Once we order and get our grub it is pretty good. The Iguana in the table area on this day was entertaining. Enjoy!

Five us wandered into Sucriere thinking that we would each get a couple of pastries for a mid-day snack. Walked out with about 4 boxes of items in addition to 2 fresh baguettes. Don't know why we waited till the day before we left. Everything was fantastic and you won't be disappointed. Next time we'll sit for lunch outside by... More

We have been going to La Sucriere for baguettes for as long has we have been coming to the island. They are crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. Just like I remember from Paris.

Great place to enjoy a baguette and croissant with some marmalade and butter for breakfast, but I wouldn't recommend the cappuccino. The terrace is at the back of the building with view over the lagoon, so no traffic passing by directly while eating which is a big plus.

It's in the Cole Bay area, facing Simpson Bay Lagoon, in Cole Bay, Sint Maarten. La Sucrière on the french side is not related to us. It is a different company with a different management.
