Upon visiting St.Maarten, I look forward to a few things,, Front Street, and the Boardwalk. Once done taking in the sun and the warm waters of the island, I'd have to get a quick meal from the same beachfront establishment. "Barefoot". When reading reviews in search of restaurants to try for dinner on this trip, I read that Barefoot which... More

I just came back on August 6th. Imagine my disappointment when I had my heart set on going into town to have lunch at Barefoot, only to find a shell of a building. It was almost completely demolished. I asked some locals and was told that the space was taken over by Diamonds International next door for expansion. I TRULY... More

My wifes favourite place on the boardwalk seafront. Every time we visit this island she just has to have the coconut shrimps.

We love dining here. Hoping to return next spring. My husband had conch and I had fish. The adult beverages are good also.

We have eaten here a few times and have been happy with our meals. It's fun to sit outside and watch the people go by. Right in the middle of town so it's very convenient

Great food, atmosphere with views of the ocean, beach and the docking of several cruise ships. Staff is always helpful. The closing of this mom and pop Resturant is a terrible lost.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch last week. It was very busy but we were seated immediately. They didn't have any more of either of the two specials. We ordered off of the menu and it was ok. The food is nothing special. Service was a bit slow but they were extremely busy. Service wasn't particularly friendly.

Stopped here after a few hours at the beach. Ordered the curried goat and it was spot on delicious! Shared between 4 of us we were all wanting more. Then as the main course had the grilled half of a lobster. It simply melted in your mouth and the flavor was to die for. Had such a wonderful experience we... More

We asked at a store where to go for lunch, and they said the barefoot. Its located on the boardwalk across from the beach. The fish tacos were great and the drinks were good.

We ordered the appetizer sampler for a light lunch. The conch fritters were really chewy and we could barely finish one. The jerk chicken, although seasoned and marinated nicely were way overcooked and chewy like jerky. The only really tasty part of the meal was the coconut shrimp which was cooked fine. The service was blah, not very friendly overall.
