We had Christmas Day dinner at Humming Bird Restaurant. It’s a neat little place right on the beach, right at the entrance of the road of doom that takes you to Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain, and Anse Mamin.
Yes there are tons of humming...More
We stayed at the resort, and ate here for several dinners, and eight breakfasts, and the food was always spot on. We even bumped into another couple who were staying at another resort nearby that preferred to eat here as the food was great. Our...More
My wife and I had a dinner here and enjoyed it very much. The staff was efficient, very friendly and attentive. The food was very good and well presented. The ambiance of the restaurant was very enjoyable.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
This is a small friendly resort which we have returned to several times - they never fail to please. We have stayed here a couple of times over the years in the hotel and in the 'cottage up the hill', and more recently come by...More
We did not stay at the Hummingbird, but we did eat here.
2 glasses of wine, starter and two mains came to $36 USD excl. tip.
Food was a solid 3.5 out of 5...maybe a 4/5 if the service was not so slow.

I don't remember any vegan dishes but I had a pasta dish with wild mushrooms and a crème sauce (did not add chicken or shrimp) and it was excellent. They were so friendly I'm sure the chef would accommodate. To play it safe, you can always send a quick email and ask them: firstname.lastname@example.org. It's a great little place and the view is worth it....go in the early evening just before the sun starts setting so you don't miss the view....and leave as the night comes and the candles are lit. Romantic!
