I was staying just near to this little shop. I was happy to find my passion fruit sorbet there. The person in the shop was delightfully friendly . He brought me some water, which I didn’t even ask for, but I did appreciate!
This is really a great place with fantastic homemade ice cream. The owner is super friendly and she makes a great product. This was easily the best ice cream on the island, make sure you bypass the places that aren't homemade and get ice cream...here.More
Introduction & Location
After spending a week in Anse Mitan, Cocco Bello is the best ice cream I could find. The flavors are delicious and there are many other attractions close by. The shop is located in Pointe du Bout right above Village Creole. The...map on TripAdvisor is incorrect so I've included these instructions. If you start on the beach in Anse Mitan and walk right (when you are looking over the water) you will reach a hill with a small cafe and the beach behind you. Walk up and over the hill until you reach a parking lot which you should walk across to find Cocco Bello.
Quality & Flavors
They have 22 different flavors which I find all delicious! Some include fraise (strawberry), lime (lime), Nutella, stratiaccela (vanilla with dark and milk chocolate), and many more. The gelato was some of the best ice cream I have had in 10 years. The flavors were very vibrant and the shop has many different kinds to choose from!
Payment & Details
The ice cream is a bit pricy but I think it's totally worth it! For one scoop its 3.00€, two scoops is 5.50€, and three scoops is 7.00€. You can also get ice cream in a small glass for 2.50€ for one scoop, 5.00€ for two, and 6.50€ for three scoops. A big glass costs 10.00€ for two scoops and 20.00€ for four. THEY ONLY TAKE CASH. There is a ATM behind the shop after you go down a few stairs.
There is a grocery store down the hill with multiple souvenir shops along the same street. There are also restaurants and a Hertz car rental place in village creole. If you walk down the street away from Anse Mitan you will find the marina with an out of service automatic toilet and a so called 'American style' ice cream shop (Cocco Bello is the best though). Overall, I think Cocco Bello has amazing variety and vibrant favors although it is a bit pricy.More
