We dine at Tin Box everytime we visit the island - it is one of our favorite restaurants. The pork tacos are amazing - be sure to come during happy hour for the $2 tacos and sushi! It's also a great atmosphere with great views.

I was staying at the Hix Island House and popped out for dinner solo the night before my husband arrived. I sat at the bar and had one of the best rum punches I've ever had. The sushi was fresh and the greens came from the chef's garden behind the restaurant.

The open-walled restaurant lets you feel like you're sitting outside among the trees and birds. The cocktails are delicious. The ribs are just spicy and sticky enough for my taste. Loved the key lime pie. And the salad, full of yummy things grown onsite, was needed after my past few days of eating too much fried junk.

You can't really see it from the road, but when you go in sit over by the railing. It overlooks their greenhouse set up and basically their own forest with a creek. It was really interesting for us. The food was good quality and the staff was excellent. We tried the different sushi and the bacon appetizer. We did not... More

I liked the cocktails here (watermelon Rita) and the BBQ (sushi was just ok)....the location and decor were great. They have a cool garden and yummy salads. My only regret was the service. Everywhere in PR the people were so nice and the customer service was exceptional. Here it wasn't fun or friendly. I was also shocked to read the... More

Went here twice while on vieques and thought the location and setting for the restaurant was nice, sat down and ordered drinks, food and couldn't help but notice the unfriendly nature of our waitress, not just to us but the table behind us. We found the sushi to be decent, drinks were pretty good and only a dollar or two... More

We walked up to Tin Box without a reservation and were so happy they could accommodate us. The drinks and food were great - I had incredible sushi that was served quickly and tasted amazing and my husband had very tasty tacos. Tough to find a place that can do such different things so well. And the ambience was surprisingly... More

My family and I loved this little spot. We'd not gone there on prior visits to the island, but not it's a favorite. Their sushi and BBQ are amazing (what a combo, right? only on an island can you go to a restaurant that specializes in both and knocks it out of the park!) Their fresh fruit juices are delicious...
