Sol Food's home is a fun, funky converted panel truck just outside of Camp Garcia, or the Vieques National Wildlife Refuge. Best food I've had on this beautiful island, and that's saying something, because it's nearly impossible to find any bad food on La Isla Nina. My wife and I are addicted to the "Bob Marley," an indescribably delicious jerk... More

Very tasty and reasonably priced local food. Takeaway truck, run by friendly chefs. Good quality food to take to the beach with you or to hang out and chat with.

Who would think that a New Yorker would make the best empanadas on Vieques. Do yourself a favor and stop here for lunch on your way to the beach.

Can't tell for sure when Sol Food will be open. We caught them on our last full day on La Isla Nina, but the sandwiches are the best I've ever had - and I'm not one to gush about food. I had the Bob Marley jerk chicken sandwich, my wife had the same. One word: Mmmmmm...

We drove by like 15 times and it was never open. Please broaden your hours! Oh well, here's hoping for next year!

It may look run down but it's the best food ever! The Cuban sandwich is the best and will feed two adults or 4 small children. Don't pass it up. Bummer if they're closed because you missed out!

En route to La Chiva via bicycle, my friend and I stopped here for lunch. The pork carnitas and black bean falafal--delicious. And the passion fruit sun tea hit the spot on a warm afternoon. The two owners are friendly and offer sun tea refills for $1. They also make magical peanut butter cookie dough brownies with preztel bits.

We had heard this was good p, but in two weeks here it was never open and looked so run down and abandoned I would never eat here anyway...Maybe they are out of business or have other jobs, don't count on this place at all, but there is another truck nearby that is passable.

Food Good for your Soul! A do not miss while on your vacation. Sol Food with Nicole and Les. This food truck is an experience you must take the time to try. Stop on your way to the beach, a quick pick up to go. Love the Falafel Carnitas and no matter what, you must get a brownie! Love these... More
