My husband and I stayed here for two nights. Nothing was as I expected but if I had the chance, I would not have changed a thing! The rooms are simple, very narrow and small but clean and comfortable. There was no TV in the room, however you are on a beautiful island and should be out enjoying it! There... More

Had breakfast overlooking the Caribbean every one of our 4 days stay in Vieques. It was great!! Do it. We stayed just down the street at Casa de Tortuga. Another good find .

They've got really good blueberry pancakes. Everything is extremely tasty. I had the French toast this time one local bread it was fantastic. They're closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so we'll try another place. But I wish they were open I would eat breakfast here every morning.

This restaurant does have the best views, but the food was overpriced and the portions were small. We had shrimp app that had 3 shrimps for $10 which we found annoying as we were two people sharing the app. The entrees were not exciting and overpriced. Better luck at Bili's or Banana's or probably anywhere else.

We were two couples having dinner out on the upper terrace. Hostess was friendly and greeted us warmly. Service was excellent. Two of us had seafood, two had lamb. All prepared well and tasted delicious.

We returned to Vieques and Tradewinds after enjoying the restaurant last year and were not disappointed. The pricing is on a par if not cheaper than other similar restaurants on the island with the huge bonus of sitting outside under the stars and listening to the ocean. Service was very friendly and efficient even on a busy Valentines night.

We had breakfast twice at Tradewinds. Great american breakfast. Coffee was also brewed excellently we had a couple cups before starting the day. During breakfast the chef my daughters called him The Pirate chef would come out and ask if all was good. The view is amazing from any seat.

We arrived ordered drinks and was told they had no limes. Minutes later we were told they flew fresh fish in daily. Why couldnt the fish person bring limes. Service was slow. Food way overpriced and just poor quality. We had veal and mofongo. No way I would waste time or money on return trip.

Our host recommended this spot for their lobster benedict so we ordered one of these as well as the corned beef hash for breakfast; they were both delicious. Be prepared to spend money in Esperanza for food as it is the most touristy area of the island. Our server was Greg and he was super friendly. The chef came out... More
