Friend and I ate at Bananas several times during our mid-Feb trip to Vieques, including lunch and a late-night dessert. Drinks were great, the desserts (coconut flam in particular) were phenomenal; we almost bought a second order of them all.

Thankfully, Hurricane Maria didn’t discourage the owners of Bananas from reopening. The restaurant is in Esperanza right across from the water. The food is fantastic (like everything in PR) and the people are awesome!!! I’m attaching pre- and post-Maria photos
Bananas is serving great food and providing wifi as well despite being on generator power since Hurricane Maria. Great people and really excellent food.
