Kasalta is only a short walk from where we are staying and well worth it. The coffee is great, the pastries (and selection) are amazing! Only months after Maria and so many people there laughing and enjoying each other's company. There was even a great...More

Stayed at a hotel across the street and ate at Kasalta three times in two days. Thick ham sandwiches with cheese on warm bread, mortadella and Swiss, yum. You share long tables with other patrons and conversations are easily started. Staff were very nice and...More

Great food and people. The menu is in Spanish but they have a pamphlet with the menu in English. The breakfast sandwiches were huge, we should of shared it. Donuts and pastries were awesome also.

No service on the tables, you need to order and pick up when ready. Great selection of desserts and pastries Spanish-Cuban-Puertorican style! Good coffee, lots of locals gere, parking which is a must! Good to come either for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We went in after dinner and ordered deserts. The restaurant offers lunch and dinner entrées as well. Deserts were good.

Ate here twice, once for breadfast and for lunch. Outstanding. good coffee (order a double ) had a good pastry and at lunch an excellent caldo gallego and medianoche sandwich. The place was packed both times, but found a table with little waiting

Absolutely wonderful sandwiches (not to be missed: the cubano and the choripan), and very good traditional Spanish fare, such as octopus salad. Extremely popular with locals, it is a great place for breakfast, lunch and light meals. Highly recommended!

If you are concerned about gluten-free options, don't go. This is the best local bakery in Puerto Rico. Enjoy good food with good local people. Eat and be merry!
